Technomex has recently equipped the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Children in Chișinău with our advanced rehabilitation systems. The delivery included devices from the ACX.Rehab line (X-Cogni, Alfa, Capri, and Jupiter) as well as GraviSpine and Mini Tensor.
ACX.Rehabrepresents a new approach to therapy - combining classical physiotherapy methods with virtual reality and elastic resistance technology to achieve measurable, motivating, and safe rehabilitation outcomes.
Each of the devices plays a unique role in supporting comprehensive rehabilitation:
- X-Cogni – a multisensory device for hand and cognitive therapy. It supports exercises for memory, coordination, attention, and problem-solving, while improving the strength and range of motion of the upper limbs. Virtual reality and biofeedback help keep patients motivated and engaged during therapy.
- Alfa – a stabilometric platform designed for balance assessment and training. It’s perfect for neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation, helping patients recover stability and coordination after stroke, head injury, or lower-limb trauma.
- Capri – dedicated to improving hand grip control and precision. It is especially helpful for neurological, orthopedic, and pediatric patients, promoting neural plasticity and recovery through active, repetitive exercises.
- Jupiter – focused on knee joint therapy using elastic resistance elements. The device supports safe and gradual strengthening after injuries or surgeries, making it ideal for orthopedic, neurological, and sports rehabilitation.
In addition, the Center was also equipped with two other Technomex systems:
- GraviSpine – a specialized device for scoliosis therapy. It enables comfortable, precise, three-plane correction of spinal curvature, helping improve posture and prevent progression of scoliosis in children and adults.
- Mini Tensor – a compact yet versatile device using elastic resistance for multi-task rehabilitation. It allows a wide range of strengthening and stretching exercises, supporting post-traumatic, orthopedic, and geriatric therapy.
With this equipment, the Center has become the most technologically advanced rehabilitation facility for children in Moldova, enabling high-quality, data-driven therapy and faster patient progress.
