System of patient isolation and medical personnel protection against sars-cov-2 and other pathogens

Tholos as system of individual patient isolation and medical staff protection against SARS-COV-2 and other pathogens was created thanks to inspiration of doctors and scientists from Silesian University of Technology.

This project resulted in creation of efficient isolation system of patient’s upper respiratory tract, filtration and elimination of pathogenic microorganisms and other pathogens from the exhaled air.

Tholos is designed not to disturb even in the smallest degree performance of medical procedures, allowing at the same time air flow in the operating room in a closed circuit.

The dimensions of the Tholos covers were minimized, thanks to which it is possible to use the system during all procedures, surgeries and intensive care units.

Features

Recommended for use during:

all sudden interventions while it is impossible to perform Covid test
routine diagnostic procedures such as X-ray, ECG, USG etc.
planned surgeries to minimalize the risk for operator, nurses and all staff
does not interfere with X-ray radiation
easy to use (quick disassembly and trouble-free use of the device during treatments, thanks to its small size)
