Bringing neurorehab innovation to Venice

24-10-2025

Last week, the Technomex team visited IRCCS San Camillo Hospital in Venice-Lido as part of the Rehalliance project, an Interreg Central Europe initiative focused on advancing rehabilitation through collaboration and innovation.

IRCCS Ospedale San Camillo is a leading European hospital specialized in neurological rehabilitation. It treats patients with cranial and spinal traumas, strokes, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathies, and other neurological conditions. With around 100 beds and a dedicated team of doctors, neurologists, neuropsychologists, engineers, physiatrists, speech therapists, and physiotherapists, the hospital combines research, innovative therapies, and high-quality care to ensure the best outcomes for both inpatients and outpatients. Its location on the Lido of Venice, surrounded by the Adriatic Sea and a park, provides a perfect environment for physical and psychological recovery.

During our visit, we presented our GEO system for gait re-education, the ALFA stabilometric platforms, and the CAPRI device for wrist exercises from the ACX.Rehab line. The morning was dedicated to exploring the full range of our solutions, while the afternoon focused on hands-on sessions, where therapists and patients could test our gamification-based kinesiotherapy tools.

This event highlighted the importance of collaboration between technology providers and clinical experts in creating effective rehabilitation solutions. Seeing our systems in action, helping patients and supporting therapists, was truly inspiring.

We are grateful to the team at IRCCS San Camillo for hosting us in such a professional and welcoming environment and to the Rehalliance project for fostering innovation in rehabilitation across Europe.

The project is co-funded by the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme with the involved partners: Górnośląski Akcelerator Przedsiębiorczości Rynkowej sp. z o.o., Pannon Business Network, Carinthia University of Applied Sciences / Fachhochschule Kärnten, BioRegio STERN Management GmbH, NSBproject, ProMIS - Programma Mattone Internazionale Salute.
